The short version
- RoadReady works without an account. Your study progress stays on your device.
- The free app shows ads from Google AdMob from day one on Android and iOS. That is how the free tier is funded.
- Personalized ads stay off until you opt in. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are non-personalized.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not ask for your name, licence number, date of birth, or any government identifier.

What stays on your device
Your jurisdiction, language, answer history, mastery levels, exam results, and privacy choices are stored only on your device (app storage on mobile). Appeak Pro cannot read them. They are not backed up to our servers. Deleting the app deletes them.
In the app, Settings → Your data → Erase all progress removes on-device study data at any time.
What Google collects because the app shows ads
RoadReady is free and shows ads from day one. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) on Android and iOS. Production AdMob app IDs are configured in the app builds.
To show ads, measure them, and prevent fraud, Google may collect or process information such as:
- IP address (approximate area)
- Advertising identifiers (for example Android Advertising ID / App Set ID, and on iOS an Identifier for Advertisers only if you allow tracking)
- Device and app technical signals
- Ad interaction and diagnostic information
Google may use this for advertising, related analytics, and security. Data may be processed on servers outside Canada, including in the United States.

Personalized ads, ATT, and your choices
Personalized ads are opt-in. Declining still shows ads. Those ads are non-personalized.
On iOS, if you opt in to personalized ads, the system may show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. The app’s usage string explains that RoadReady uses the identifier only if you opt in to personalized ads, and that you can decline and keep using the app. If you deny ATT, personalized tracking via that identifier is not used.
You can change or withdraw advertising choices in the app under Settings → Privacy (including Google’s privacy options form where available). You can also reset or limit your advertising ID in the device system settings, and manage ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com.
Analytics
RoadReady does not currently ship a separate third-party product-analytics SDK (for example Firebase Analytics) that collects usage events for Appeak Pro. Study answers are never sent to us for analytics.
AdMob’s own ad measurement is described in the advertising section above. If we add an optional product-analytics tool later, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required before it collects.
Purchases
If you buy an optional paid upgrade through Apple or Google, the store processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive only what is needed to know whether a purchase or entitlement is active (for example an anonymous purchase token or entitlement status from the store).
What we never do
- We never ask for, collect, or store your name, address, licence number, date of birth, or any government identifier for app use.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not use your study answers to build an advertising profile.
- There is no RoadReady account on our servers, so there is no account database of ours to breach.
Children
RoadReady is intended for people old enough to hold a learner’s licence (typically 14 to 16 depending on the province or territory). It is not directed at children under 13. Advertising is configured as not child-directed. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has contacted us, write to info@appeak.pro.
Your rights (Canada)
Under PIPEDA and, in Quebec, Law 25, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, and request it in a portable format where applicable. Because study data stays on your device, we generally hold little or nothing about you beyond support emails you send us. We will answer privacy requests within 30 days. Contact info@appeak.pro.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date and version at the top and publish the new version at the same URL. Material changes that add new collection will be disclosed in the app where required.
