Privacy Policy
The short version
- The app itself does not collect anything about you. It has no accounts and no server of ours.
- Your answers, your progress, your state and your language stay on your phone. We never see them.
- The app shows ads from Google. Google collects some information about your device to do that.
- You can practise with the phone offline. The quiz works with no internet at all.
- We do not ask your age, and we never will.
What we collect: nothing
There is no account. There is no login. There is no server that belongs to us.
Your quiz progress, the questions you got wrong, the state you picked and the language you picked are stored on your device only. They are never sent anywhere. If you delete the app, they are gone, and we never had a copy.
We do not use analytics. We do not track how you use the app.
What Google collects, because the app shows ads
The app is free and is paid for by ads. The ads come from Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK).
To show ads, Google collects and shares:
- your IP address (which tells it roughly what area you are in)
- your Android Advertising ID and App Set ID — identifiers your phone gives to apps
- account identifiers
- which things you tapped in the app
- diagnostic and performance information
Google uses this for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention and security. It is encrypted while it travels, using TLS.
Google and other advertising companies may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to show you ads and to measure whether they worked.

We show non-personalised ads
We ask Google not to use your information to pick ads based on your interests. You will still see ads, but they are not chosen from a profile of you.
We do this because a lot of the people who use this app are teenagers learning to drive, and several US states — including Connecticut and Maryland — restrict targeted advertising to people under 18. We do not know how old you are. The app never asks for your age or date of birth, and we would rather keep it that way than collect an age in order to advertise to it.
What you can control
Your advertising ID. On your phone, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads. You can reset it, or delete it entirely.
Your ad choices. https://adssettings.google.com
Your consent, if you were shown a consent message. Open the app's Settings screen and tap Privacy options. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Showing ads can count as "sharing" personal information for advertising under California law and similar laws in other states. The Privacy options button in the app's Settings screen is how you opt out. We also serve non-personalised ads by default, as described above.
Everything else. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored, because all of it was on your phone.
Children
This app is not directed to children under 13. It is a study aid for a driving test, and you must be older than that to hold a learner permit in any US state.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child under 13 has used this app, write to info@appeak.pro and we will help.
If you are outside the United States
This app is offered in the United States only. We do not make it available in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and publish the new version at the same address. If a change means we start collecting something we did not collect before, we will say so in the app.
